We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating, making sure our two rooms were close together, which was perfect for traveling with my mum and kids. The breakfast spread had plenty of options to fuel our day.

My kids wished there were more nearby dinner options since finding food was a challenge in town.

The hotel is just a quick walk from the bus station which makes getting to Kamikochi super easy. Plus, the staff were super friendly, they spoke excellent English and were really helpful when I asked about nearby attractions.

My room was spacious and modern, offering a cozy haven after a day of sightseeing. I appreciated the two types of pillows available. one was soft, while the other was firmer. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I loved having unlimited coffee available in the lobby. On the downside, the breakfast options were limited and could use some variety. Also, the shower temperature fluctuated quite a bit during my shower, which was annoying. Still, I really enjoyed my time here and recommend it for anyone visiting Takayama.
